I will be fifteen years old, and I looking for a job in an office or something near Chicago. ANY HELP!?!?!?

I will be turning 15 really soon, and I want a job for summer or after school.

I cant find any baby sitting any were or any day cares.
I will be fifteen years old, and I looking for a job in an office or something near Chicago. ANY HELP!?!?!?
Well im not sure if most employers recruit people so young...do you have any experience? If you are just looking for something to keep yourself buisy it will probably be easy for you to find an internship "job" downtown but it is more than likely that they do not pay (just so you can get a foot in the door and get some experience)

You can try going on www.craigslist.com and either search for jobs in you area...OR post an ad stating that you are looking for a job in whatever it is that you are looking....I would be very careful in responding to ads that are "Too Good To Be True" because most of the time they are...

I wish you tons of luck on your search......

P.S.

Dont beat yourself down if you cant find anything (the economy is bad!!)

Reply:So? What's the question? If you want a job you should learn to articulate yourself first otherwise you won't get anywhere.

SO ME AND MY FRiEND R GOiN TO LOOK FOR JOBS TOMMROW.....?

what pleces should we go to find a job((we r 16))? and should we just ask for an applaction or what??
SO ME AND MY FRiEND R GOiN TO LOOK FOR JOBS TOMMROW.....?
First.. don't go inside an establishment with your friend looking for a job! Employers will frown on this, plus it's just not professional.

Second.. When going into a place of business, even to ask for a job application, be well groomed, minimal jewelry, make-up, nice clothes and NO GUM. Avoid using slang terms and be polite. If you go somewhere that you really want the job, ask for the manager to get a job application. That way you will leave an impression of yourself with the person in charge of hiring.

Third.. Teenagers can apply for J.O.B.S. anywhere they frequent. But consider this. If you know what field of business you may be interested in, try applying at a relevant job site. Better to start on a CAREER now than waste needless hours selling movie tickets or popcorn. For example, if you want to be a vet.. try applying at a pet store, vet's office, rescue mission, etc.

Fourth.. regarding the application... spell correctly!!! Fill in all the information or put a dash through non-applicable questions. That way the employer knows you are not avoiding filling out a particular question.

Fifth.. if you speak with the manager, before, during or after an interview.. always thank them for their time!

Good luck! And welcome the job force!
Reply:I think that you should ask for an application in stores that you actually shop in. Go to the mall. You might get the job and an employee discount. remember not to write on the application like you text message(or like your question) it might prevent someone from hiring you.
Reply:good luck ....!!!!
Reply:Well first of all you need to learn how to spell. For 16 yr olds most likely a fast food joint, movie theatre or simple jobs are available, if you are somewhat educated use your connections to obtain an office job, Goodluck.
Reply:Please use correct grammer when looking for work.

Example, it's "My friend and I are going" not "me and my friend"

Second, don't tag team, that causes people to giggle and look unprofessional. It's better if you two split up for an hour or two and have a meeting place at the end of the time.
Reply:Check with your local unemployment office. Also, you can try local video stores, food chains and grocery stores. Good luck with your search!

Looking for a driving job in Tucson. Will a felony conviction keep me from getting one?

No necessarily.

When you come to the part on the application that asks if you have been convicted of a felony, leave it blank.

Most of the time you will not be asked. If you are then explain the situation. i.e. Drug dealing may be considered a "white collar crime."

If you are not physically able to call on a prospective employer, your options are few at age 16. Assuming you may have physical limitations, your best bet is to contact any of several organizations who cater to and assist people with mobility limitations. Goodwill Industries comes to mind...

Teenage jobs are best done through your local school, public library or church. You will be surprised at the job opportunities posted in your Church. They might be able to hook you up in summer type jobs like caddying in golf courses, day camps for kids, life guards in town pools, etc.

How about going into business? If you have a skill that you can make money on why not? For example, if you are creative and good with your hands you can make something and sell it to your classmates, friends and relatives. Or you can buy things at discount and sell them at a profit. You can also wash cars and do odd jobs for your neighbors. When I was a kid a I shined shoes on weekends. Even if you don't make money, the experience would be well worth it. Go to these sites for more information on how to start a teen business.

Looking for a job in USA?

hi, can somebody help me on few queries...I am indian and I have total 10 years work experience from which 4 years in Dubai as Admin Manager.. now also i am an admin manager working in India. my age is 30 and I am graduate and planning to work in USA. which is the best place to work and stay in USA... cost of living should be moderate. and will it be easy getting a job in USA?
Looking for a job in USA?
First of all since your education is from India, it is not equal to an American degree. You would have to upgrade your skills in America. Secondly, you would have to find an American company to sponsor you FIRST and then once they sponsor you, then you can move to America. You can't just move to a city you like in America and hope to find a job. Plus the economy is very bad, people are getting laid off, too many americans are out of work, no company is going to sponsor a non-american right now.
Reply:I would agree. It is hard enough for even a US citizen to get a good job in the US. As an expatriate, unless you have highly specialized tech skills that would land you an H1 visa, your chances of getting any work are dim.
Reply:considering the econimic turmoil US is now facing, i bet it will be hard for u to find a job there

I am looking for a pharmaceutical job in Boston, any reccomendations on a recruitment firm?

Don't work for those evil multinational F**KS! You'll be persuading medical doctors to prescribe medications to the public that they do not need. Some of their tactics involve threatening the doctors making them believe that if they do not prescribe a certain medication, they could be sued for malpractice. You'll be paid commissions to do this, and the doctors receive bonuses for each script filled. And people ask why our health-care system has its problems? I personally believe medicine is not a place for sales commissions and bonuses.
I am looking for a pharmaceutical job in Boston, any reccomendations on a recruitment firm?
I am assuming your are talking sales? Actually, I would look up all pharmaceutical companies no matter where they are located because every comapny should have several territories in Boston. I suggest going to big name websites and looking for through their openings and submitting your resume. Also, I would try asking anyone you know in the industry in general and maybe they can point you in the right direction. Good luck!

I'm looking for a new job - should I tell my current boss?

I'd like to feel around and see what's out there. Although I'd like to have the reference, if I don't get the job I'm sure they'll try to get rid of me, because I was looking. What should I do?
I'm looking for a new job - should I tell my current boss?
In general, it's better not to tell your present manager you are looking for a job. It may cause your manager to think you are a short timer and they may treat you differently. Instead, when you apply for jobs, you can list that employer, but check the box that says "do not contact" them. Companies understand.

Then for references, use previous employers. If you need a reference from your current company, you can use peers, past clients/customers, other departments you've interacted with. Be sure to OK it up front with all your references. (There's nothing worse than a refererence who receives a phone call about you and they did not have the faintest idea you were applying for the job. I know it sounds crazy, but that has happened.) Let the reference know what points they should emphasize when talking to the potential employer (teamwork, initiative, detail oriented, big picture, visionary, etc.). You can remind them what you did when you were at that company, what goals you accomplished, how you helped them. That should aid in your job search. Good luck!
Reply:No offense, but don't be naive. Do not tell your boss that you are looking for a new job. Think about it does boss tell you when he or she is thinking about hiring someone else to take your place. No they usually tell you right on the spot that your employment is terminated.
Reply:These days you should ALWAYS be looking for your next assignment. No need to tell your boss or get a recommendation. Just put your current position generically on your resume and once you move up . . . ask your old boss for a letter of recommendation.

There is no loyalty among employers for employees in most companies these days, so this approach is just "quid pro quo".
Reply:I'm pretty sure the can't get rid of you for looking, however they could make your life difficult until you quit. If you're worried about that then don't tell them. Many jobs don't call references until they are taking you serious for the postion. Or if they ask for them in advance you can explain the situation to them.
Reply:NO.

Do not tell your boss you are shopping around for a new job.

Don't tell him a thing! Keep it to yourself.

I am looking for a new job because I need a higher salary...?

I have an interview tomorrow. When I am asked WHY I am planning to leave my current position, do I tell them because of my salary?

The reality is, I was hit with a lay off a couple of years ago. Starting over in a different industry was tough, and I knew I would be taking a pay cut...which I certainly did...nearly 30%! Since then, I have divorced and now live on a single income. I have to make more money.

But, how do I say this?
I am looking for a new job because I need a higher salary...?
No, do not bring up salary. Tell them you no longer feel challenged and are looking for a better opportunity.

I was in your shoes once, same exact situation. My pay cut was close to 50%.
Reply:The personal problems and salary are irrelevant to the recruiter and should not even be mentioned!

Be up-front about the problems you had with the previous layoff and job uncertainty.

Emphasise the fact you changed industries and took a significant salary hit! That is a good example of high motivation!

Instead of mentioning the need for a higher salary, make sure they realise that you are looking to progress in your current industry.

Good Luck!
Reply:That's a really tough situation. I sympathize with you.

Would the prospective employer offer you more money than the previous one? Was it in the ad for the job?

Is there anyone at the company you can ask about how they negotiate salary requests? Have you any idea of the range of salary for the position you applied for?

I know I'm answering a question with a question, but it's the best I can do. These are things you should think about.
Reply:I think looking for a better opportunity is the best answer, it doesn't point fingers at anyone and it shows that you are willing to try.
Reply:No don't give reason of only making more money. Employer will look at you to see how you benefit there company. Giving more money answer clearly shows you are not interested in work or care less about work. Instead say my qualification %26amp; work you are expecting is matching. I will love to do this work. If after giving job they asked you your old salary %26amp; said you were making less in last job so we will also give less salary then tell them the situation if you want to that you were layed off or simply give some reason how your old work %26amp; this new work is different challenging/more demanding.
Reply:Salary is important - and when you have bills and people depending on you, it's that much more important. Yet, during an interview, it's important to focus on the employer's needs, not your own. If all else matches up, salary will follow. Think about what you are looking for beyond salary - challenges, team setting vs. individual, long term opportunities to grow your position within the company - and be prepared to answer that question. Also be prepared to answer why you are leaving. If you're being honest with yourself (I don't want to put words in your mouth) your reasons for leaving are probably the same or similar to why you want the job at the new employer - because those weren't achievable at the former company. Rehearse your responses and you'll do well.

Example: Because of family needs that required an urgent need to pay bills, I took the first position available, and have performed well (specific examples, contributions). Since then, I've learned that I need to expand my opportunities and grow my career. Your company is a good fit for that because of A, B, C (examples) - but more importantly, because my background and experiences will allow me to deliver immediate value for you in ________, ________, and ______ areas. Etc. Etc. Good luck. Before the interview is over, ask some good questions about how your goals are set, and how your goals are aligned with the company, etc. And always ask for the job. The next morning, follow-up via email and letter, then call 48 hours after the interview to check on progress (unless you've been given a different time frame by the interviewer). Best wishes for success
Reply:Simply say that you "are looking for better growth opportunities"
Reply:The best answer is that you are simply looking for a better opportunity where you can best apply your training and experience. Most intervewers will accept that as a very positive response to that question.

Your instincts are correct not to say you need or are leaving for more money. Even though money is still one of the leading motivators to change jobs, people are still uncomfortable with any suggestion that that is your key motivator.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to email with any questions.

Mike@directyourcareer.com

Reply:It depends. I'm the type who likes to base my answers around the interviewer. Some interviewers are very down-to-earth and you could tell them the truth. Your quandry is a very real one and it doesnt look bad on your part. On the other hand, if the person interviewing you seems a bit stiff, I would tell them something along the lines of how you are looking for a challenge __insert some braggish stuff about the Company_ and then say I know that as a member of your team I will be able to challenge myself doing_ insert some of your job description_.
Reply:I don't think there is any shame in telling the truth here. Something like "My current income doesn't cover my living expenses."

I am looking for a job and I have a class 4 felony DUI. I live in Phoenix, AZ 85008. Can you help. Thanks?
Good lord, I wish the spammers would give it a rest!!!

With a felony dui on your record, chances for getting back in the medical field are slim.(sorry to say, but too easy access to drugs) You do however have the qualifications as a drug and alcohol counselor.

Almost every D/A counselor in the business has either a drug or alcohol related charge(usually an extensive one), and either a medical, or psychiatry background.

If you like to help people, this might be an avenue to look into.

Print up 50 C.V.s and walk round town dropping them off in shops.
Reply:your only 15 so the best thing to do would be volunteer at your local oxfam for a coupleof months, that will mean when you get a job for real you can use them as a reference and you'll be more employable, no shop will employ you beforeyou turn 16 cos your not even old enough to operate a till yet so its better to doa bit of voluntary and then get ready to get a job, the best times to apply are jus after the summer when people are going off to uni and just before xmas

If you have the qualifications for such a position, send your CV/resume to some community colleges. These insitutions sometimes offer online classes, and because they often rely on adjuncts rather than full-time faculty members, you could easily get your foot in the door if you're qualified.

Most cities/counties have their own certifications required to work as a massage therapist in the US. My daughter is a massage therapist. She has mentioned sending a resume to the various heath clubs, skin care places, etc in your area.

Another idea is to set up a designated room in your house, and work out of your home. You could only do this if you could be assured of privacy and quiet during the sessions.

Im 15 looking for job?
Don't believe those "work at home" opportunities - 99% of the time, they are a scam.

At 15, depending on the laws of your state, you may need a work permit before being hired for a job. I would check with your state department of labor.

I assume you have little or no work experience, so I think it may be hard to get hired at a big chain store. With the economy being rough right now, you'd be competing with a lot of adults for a job at a place like Wal-Mart.

Fast food restaurants are a good place to get a start. My first job was at a fast food restaurant when I was 16. It's hard work, but you'll learn good skills that are transferrable to other jobs, like deaing with customers, handling cash, running a cash register, working as a team, etc. I was able to use my fast-food restaurant skills to get a job as a part-time bank teller, and from there was able to move into better-paying corporate bank jobs.

Another suggestion would be a job at an ice cream parlor (Dairy Queen, etc), or at a local swimming pool/community center, or park. You could become certified to be a lifeguard (if you have good swimming skills) or work at a concession stand.

Finally, if you have a community center or Salvation Army in your neighborhood, try talking to someone there about any possible leads on jobs. They may even have some job programs for teenagers.

Good luck with the job search!
Reply:since you are only 15 most places will not hire you. your best bet would be to try and get a job at a summer camp as a counslor in training.or similar. you can also try to find a job at a small restaurant that is family owned.

I'm looking for a work from home job with no upfront fees or money involved do anybody know of any?
If you are proficient in medical terminology, you could consider medical transcription. I was a medical transcriptionist working from home for 13 years while my son was growing up.

Many transcriptionists get their training through a course of study while others carry their medical terminology knowledge with them from other health related fields. You would need to get the terminology down, and then get started. Many companies want experience so there's a catch-22. However, doctors and hospitals may be hiring, and after a time you can work from home as many transcriptionists do.

Im am 14 and i am currently looking for a job?
when I was your age i got my first Saturday/holiday job by literally going from shop to shop locally, asking if they had any jobs. The benefit of doing this instead of writing on spec, is that the potential employer can see you, they can see you are well-groomed and nicely-spoken and personable and bright, and they will value your initiative.

If you do this, make sure you are dressed appropriately, well-groomed and take copies of your CV with you. And don't be afraid to ask advice from shop owners - they might not have any jobs but they might know someone else who does.

I am looking for a job and I have a felony deferred judegement, do you know of anyone who will hire me?

I had many interviews and was offered many positions with numerous organizations. The pay grade is good between 35,000 - 80,000+. I give talks in prisons, crisis centers, schools etc..... you can use ur experience for positive. be dilligent and don't get discouraged. By the way I was also called for several civil service jobs after acing the exams. hey we have options. let me know what area ur from maybe I can help. peace

Once upon a time, there was an independently owned restaurant in my town run by a man who wanted to help people who had been in jail or prison start over. He really made a difference. Unfortunately the restaurant burnt down and he didn't rebuild. After that another man started a bakery where he employed people who had been homeless or had other issues.

The point is, there might be someone in your community with such a commitment.

Organizations like St. Vincent de Pauls and the Salvation Army have thrift stores and they like hiring people who really need a second chance.

Yes, there are people willing to take a chance on you. There just aren't very many of them.

If your a woman, try something else, but do the same. People like it when you don't lie to them.
Reply:Alot of companies will still hire you as long as you were not convicted. Also it depends on what it was for. Its best to be honest and up front about it when you apply and in the interview because they will find out and if you didnt tell them then they will not even bother to call you. Explain the situation, "Dr. it up" you have to to make it sound good and say that it was mistakes in your past that yopur not proud of.

Then again if you were not convicted then you were not too guilty right? If its drugs then Id say you hung out with the wrong crowd but didnt do drugs you were at t he wrong place at the wrong time.

If it is theft say I was with someone who was doing it or it was a stupid dare/mistake and it was a very expensive one that I highly regret.

gotta make it sound good and that you HIGHLY regret it.

Also Id see about getting it expunged from your record it cost about 75.00 I think.
Reply:depends on the crime.... there is always someone who will hire you, but if it is seriously... you may not be able to work anywhere too prestigious... the only way to find out is to go out there and get interviews and until you find someone

Looking for info on work @home jobs?

Mom of 3 very interested @woring at home, don't have much money to spend to start with. right now im just looking to earn 300-500 a month any help would be great.
Looking for info on work @home jobs?
http://makemoney.yacam.altervista.org here you can find information and start your online marketing without one cent and no credit card require.

How does it work?

You can earn money by placing ads on your website or in your emails. For this there are various commission models. For instance your receive a commission if a sale is being made via your ad.

So, how do you get to take part?

Register

Apply for partnership with the partner-program of one or more merchants. The merchant will email you when your application has been accepted

After the successful application you place the html-code of an advertising media like a link or banner on your homepage or in your emails and can immediately earn commissions with it.

What are my earning options?

Your earnings are generated by:

View, pay per view - for the display of advertising materials (banner, logo, product image, text link)

Click, pay per click - when somebody clicks an advertising material

Lead, pay per lead - when you acquire a new customer

Sale, pay per sale - when you broker a sale

pay per lifetime - recurring sales commission (e.g., subscription renewal)

pay per period - a fixed fee which is calculated for an individually defined billing period (e.g., fixed monthly fee)

affiliate merchants can offer you a range of condition models, for example, 鈧?.15 per click, 鈧?0 per lead and an additional 25% of the sale brokered. The visitors to whom the sales are being brokered have a period of 30 days to decide on their purchase. During this time, you are entitled to all leads and sales resulting from the visitor's activities.

Every merchant offers all four condition models (view, click, lead, sale). These may also be combined and allocated individually for each affiliate.

When and how will I be paid?

As a rule, only confirmed transactions will be paid out. Any pending transactions first need to be confirmed by the merchant in question. At the point of billing (end of the month), the confirmed transactions need to total 鈧?5 or higher (up to the payout limit) for a credit note to be generated. In "Profile" %26gt; "Account information" (login section), you can authorise this credit to be paid out before the 10th of the following month. For further details, see the question "How do I authorise payment of my credits?" below. All authorised credits are booked for payment on the 9th of each month. Even if you miss the deadline, you can still authorise the payment. In this case, the payment is booked in the next month. Bank transfers are the only payment method available within Germany. If the payout threshold is not reached at the end of the month or if you did not authorise the credit, your existing credit will be carried over to the next month.
Reply:Sell things on EBay.

Strengths of the business model

The strategic advantages of this business model include:

No time constraints. Bids can be placed at any time (24/7). Items are listed for a number of days (usually between 1 and 10, at the discretion of the seller), giving purchasers time to search, decide, and bid. This convenience increases the number of bidders.

No geographical constraints. Sellers and bidders can participate from anywhere that has internet access. This makes them more accessible and reduces the cost of "attending" an auction. This increases the number of listed items (ie.: number of sellers) and the number of bids for each item (ie.: number of bidders). The items do not need to be shipped to a central location, reducing costs, and reducing the seller's minimum acceptable price.

Intensity of social interactions. The social interactions involved in the bidding process are very similar to gambling. The bidders wait in anticipation hoping they will "win" (eBay calls the successful bidder the "winner"). Much like gambling addiction, many bidders bid primarily to "play the game" rather than to obtain products or services. This creates a highly loyal customer segment for eBay.

Large number of bidders. Because of the potential for a relatively low price, the broad scope of products and services available, the ease of access, and the social benefits of the auction process, there are a large numbers of bidders.

Large number of sellers. Because of the large number of bidders, the potential for a relatively high price, reduced selling costs, and ease of access, there are a large number of sellers.

Network economies. The large number of bidders will encourage more sellers, which, in turn, will encourage more bidders, which will encourage more sellers, etc., in a virtual spiral. The more the spiral operates, the larger the system becomes, and the more valuable the business model becomes for all participants.

Captures consumers' surplus. Auctions are a form of first degree price discrimination. As such, they attempt to convert part of the consumers' surplus (defined as the area above the market price line but below the firm's demand curve) into producers' surplus. On-line auctions are efficient enough forms of price discrimination that they are able to do this.

It's a program called CashCrate. Companies like E-Bay will actually pay you to try their products and services. You don't even have to leave your computer! Most people make a few HUNDRED dollars per MONTH! All you have to do is spend a bit of time on the internet! As an added bonus, you get 20% of what your referrals make, and 10% of what their referrals make!

Also, you will receive a check from CashCrate every month...you don't have to worry about tons of checks from various companies floating through the mail!

I say just apply for all of them and hope you get an offer from at least one. If you get multiple offers than great, but don't limit yourself before you do. I imagine all of them will pay minimum wage, sorry but that's just the way it is (especially when you're young and fairly new to the workforce). As for what would still be fun, I'm sure there's positives and negatives to all of them so it's also probably kind of a toss up. Good luck!

I will be turning 16 in a few months and I'm looking for a summer job.?

I would really like to do something with animals such as a pet shop or something, but the age requirement is 18. Any suggestions on possible jobs??
I will be turning 16 in a few months and I'm looking for a summer job.?
Nothing with animals since all vet offices want someone with experience. You can volunteer at an animal shelter if they have any openings. This is without pay. Maybe if you have experience with animals, you could dog walk. But if you have no experience, don't try it since you could end up in court if something happens to a beloved pet while it is in your care.
Reply:Perhaps a local veterinarian needs someone to help out around the office/hospital. You probably wouldn't be actually working with the animals (answering phone, sweeping, cleaning up poop) but it's a good way to get your foot in the door. Another idea is volunteering at your local animal shelter but of course you wouldn't get paid for that.
Reply:may be you could look into something at your local animal shelter. if it 's 18 also, you could always volunteer.

Am 15 years old and am pregnant.. am looking for a job for i can support my kid without the help of the family

You need support so you can finish high school and then get a marketable skill (or post secondary education). There were single mothers in my college clases; it can be done.

There are very few jobs which will pay enough to allow you to support a child either for 15 year olds or for anyone with Grade 9 education. That is the bottom line.

The kid has needs and should have a decent opportunity at life. If you keep him/her, you need an education.
Am 15 years old and am pregnant.. am looking for a job for i can support my kid without the help of the family
The only advice I can give you is that people are automatically going to look down upon you because of your age, and because you are pregnant during interviews. Find someone who can help you make up a resume if you don't already have one, and try purchasing some interviewing books at a book store, they can really help your chances. Other than that, you newspaper, careerbuilder.com and your local workforce center can help you find a job.
Reply:Sweetheart, you're going to need help. Go to your family and ask for help. The best thing you could do, for both you (child) and your child is to give him/her to a mother and father that can raise him properly in a functional, loving home. Let the thumbs fly, but answer this: Would you want to be raised by a 15-year-old kid who hates her mom and works at McDonalds?
Reply:Wow, good luck hun. The only place I know of is fast food. That won't be enough to do it on your own. Might need your parents help for a while... at 16 a lot of places will hire you. Try a telemarketing place after you turn 16. They usually pay very well and you get to sit your whole shift. Keep your chin up and don't be too proud to ask your family for a little help until you can do it on your own.
Reply:I really admire that you're still having the child - good luck! =] Try working at a call centre (well, I'm from Canada); they tend to pay a bit more than the minimum wage. If not, I suppose jobs like babysitting, waitress/fastfood/restaurants, department stores/grocery stores...they are always hiring, so you're likely to get a job there. Again, if not - try a mall - clothing stores may be hiring now since it's closer to summertime. Good luck!
Reply:Too late to bash on you now, so I won't. No, you can't support your child without family help; you, being a child yourself, can't even support yourself. Wait till your're about 18, apply for all these benefits and then the taxpayer can raise your child. Heck, keep having 'em and you may never have to work or nothing. Good luck.
Reply:good luck sweetie!! why dont you try baby sitting for your neighbors. this will provided money and let you practice on what its going to be like raising your actual child. if your good in school, consider tutoring. idk what the labor laws are like where you live but for PA you need to be 16 to have a "real job"...overall dont get a job that is going to over exert yourself. you are going to need your energy to get through this pregnancy... good luck sweet heart! also if you can try to get a job w/ benifits like medical that will cover you and your soon to be born baby!!
Reply:lol, good luck with that.

u will find a job. u can't even get a job, until u r 16. u would need your parents signature to get working papers. there is alot of restrictions with hiring minors to work for a company.

but i doubt u won't need your family.

i was pregnant at 16, so i know. there are some college educated woman out there who are barely making it.
Reply:Why would you want to do that? Your fam is the most important thing right now! If I were you, I would stay in school and apply for medicaid (insurance) and WIC (food assistance) and keep your lil butt in school. Then only work in the evenings at a restaurant to telemarketing place. Then graduate and go to college! Your family is your family adn should be there iwth you 100% no matter what is happening! Really think about this! They may piss you off and upset you but they are your family!
Reply:You need the support of your family or some adult in this situation. Without a high college degree, much less a h.s. diploma, it is going to be very difficult for you to support yourself and a child. Ask for help from family and friends.
Reply:Most ccompanies aren't going to hire anyone under the age of 16 esspecially not for a full time position.

Why don't you try being a nannny or babysitting? Offer decent rates and good child care. You are going to need your family, sorry to tell you that.
Reply:Try and ice cream place. I got a job at one years ago, when I was 14.

Good for you for taking responsibilty.

Let your family help you out if they are willing, because I'm sure you will need their love and support too.

good luck
Reply:People hardly hire pregnant people, let alone 15 year old pregnant people. While I admire you for wanting to do this on your own, you need help right now. Best of luck to you.
Reply:Because you are so young, you are going to need the support of your family because there are no jobs out there that are going to pay you enough to not need help.
Reply:15 and pregnant looks like your family wont help any way

go on state aid like every dumb kid

go to his folks if you know who the father is

you should have thought of this first
Reply:good luck thats great idea! but make sure you don't turn away all support everyone needs some kind of support network no matter what your situation.
Reply:you wont be able to get a job until your sixteen and you would still need your parents help. also good luck with everything
Reply:good luck i hope you can do it girl. i mean that in the nicest possible way
Reply:no matter how much you work you will still need the support of your family so try not to do to much that your cant handle b/c it can be a hand full
Reply:Mcdonalds will hire 14 and up. Not many other places will. Try there.
Reply:Very responsible of you!!!!!! Try your local newspaper...
Reply:Fast foods are about your only option being 15.
Reply:u cant get a job as ur under 16 therfore dont have ur ni number basicly ur screwed
Reply:babysitting can bring in a lot more money then you think..

Looking for a reputable virtual job company to work at home for?

If looking for a JOB, what are your marketable skills and previous experiences? Build a list and use that to begin your search. There are legitimate opportunities available in areas such as customer service, telemarketing, virtual assistant, tutoring, transcription, translation, blogging, writing, editing, marketing, nursing, and technical support.

General rule of thumb: Never pay for a job (businesses, on the other hand, usually involve some expenses).

Find a rep to contact, check out their websites, ask questions, do your own independent research. Check resources such as www.bbb.org for potential scams. You can find job leads in the Telecommuting Moms folder on the WAHM.com forum. I have also researched and compiled several resources for freelance and telecommuting work on my site.
Looking for a reputable virtual job company to work at home for?
The WAH site is great, tons of helpful information, job listings, etc. There are tons of WAH job forums out there and they almost always have available job folders.

Also try the freelance sites, that's where I get a lot of my clients from. I also work for this company: http://document-do-it-yourself-service.c... they're always accepting applications.

How can i look for job discribtion on the web?

i'm a physician , posted as a director of quality improvement department in our hospital , i want to know what is exactly my job discribtion, and what are my responsiblities?
How can i look for job discribtion on the web?
It's rather disappointing that a physician, and especially the director of quality improvement needs to ask this question on Yahoo answers.
Reply:Most of the time, unless you are in a national service hospital or equivalent, you are not going to find these on the web. In fact, many places simply skip putting down a job description and responsibilities - they expect to turn in that they have one to meet some requirement and let it lay there.

or

or

Google 'director of quality improvement'

or

Ask the people in Human Resources or whoever posted you to this position what it means.

I hope that you spell better there than here.

"how can i look for job description on the web?

I'm a physician, posted as a director of quality improvement department in our hospital , I want to know what is exactly my job description, and what are my responsibilities?"
Reply:I need an answer 4 this Q too !!
Reply:Well you could try looking up a few other hospitals, and see if they have a job opening posted with the listing of duties and responsibilities.

Keep in mind though, that your particular hospital might have it's own set of expectations from your position.

It might require swallowing some pride, but you might want to simply ask the person that you report to. If you're concerned about seeming confused, you could always simply say that you are trying to better-budget your time and would like a simple list of your responsibilities and duties so that you can make sure to include all of it in the schedule you are trying to make for yourself.

Good luck

Im looking for a a job in law or nursing but i am a convicted felon help?

a class b felony in indiana for burglary, did 3 yrs 5 months i want to get into law but i k now i can never be a lawyer. what proffessional carrees are limited to me
Im looking for a a job in law or nursing but i am a convicted felon help?
For law careers, you need to check with the your State Supreme Court's Disciplinary Commission to see how long you have to 'wait' until you clear your parole from that Class B. Same thing with Nursing. Check with the State Nursing Board. Also, check with the state Bar Association, or some of the state Nursing associations.

In a few states, if you have been out of prison for at least five to ten years, and have cleared parole, you could be a lawyer...BUT...it would depend upon what you were convicted of, the details of your case, and your record since you have been released from p n p (Prison and Parole). Of course, you would have to move to those states. Again, the Disciplinary Commission would have that information.
Reply:with your spelling, quite a few. what did you do, do tell!
Reply:You could become a legal assistant or a veterinarians asst, it sort of sounds like your backing yourself into a corner with only jobs that help people ,you are wanting to help, but I think thats just holding you back , you can study law as a hobby or you can study medicine as a hobby ,no one can keep you from learning what you desire to learn, but to make money without friction you might want to consider your own business or automobile repair, or an acting career as a nurse or a lawyer or a tow truck driver or truck driver .

What kind of job should I be looking for?

I love working with money as long as it is not taking orders however I have no clue what kind of job I should look for...finances really interest me.
What kind of job should I be looking for?
Maybe a career in banking.
Reply:Maybe an entry level bookkeeper? or to get your feet wet, any secretarial work that may lead to a promotion on the financial field.

I started on a receptionist job and then got promoted to accounts payable. So it is doable as long as you show that you are adept and can learn. Take some college classes so you know a bit or if your family has a business, try to get involved so you get some experience.

Good Luck!

I'm looking for an on-line job that I can work from home , that is for real, no scams or upfront cost to me.
I have found a wonderful home based business that is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, and has been in business for over 35 years. I have been working with this company for over two years. There is potential for multiple streams of income [i.e. Bonuses, overrides, residual, and direct compensation]. They are nationally advertising and have been featured in several popular magazines like Money, Forbes, Fortune, and Black Enterprise. I have been made aware of a promotion for the month of January 2008 in which new associates can have their start up fee reimbursed and receive a Palm TX (nearly a $400 value) by meeting specified requirements. Their looking for outgoing motivated, and goal oriented individuals. There is less than 2% market penetration nation wide, leaving the market wide open. Great training tools, one on one coaching, and a valuable and affordable service with little to no competition, make this home based business stand out from the rest. If you would like more information please feel free to contact me at RexWhitePPL@gmail.com.

Best Wishes,

Rex White
Reply:Before you quickly conclude that this must be a scam, let me tell you that this program is offered by a reputable company called Nutronix.

I understand that you may not want "upfront costs", but if you can afford $55 per month, after 20 months, you are guaranteed to get commissions for doing nothing else. You could make it work faster (there is a program that takes 10 months before you start getting commissions) by paying more and/or trying to recruit other people. But if you want "no upfront costs", the next best thing is paying, but just $55. For that, you end up getting some product, too.

Im looking for a job in New Jersey and I am 15. Where can I go?

Where in NJ? I am from southern NJ. I got a job at 15 at Chick-Fil-A in my local mall, one of my friends got a job at Auntie Ann's Pretzels at 15.
Im looking for a job in New Jersey and I am 15. Where can I go?
Check with your school, sometimes they have programs where you can get meaningful employment that is career oriented. When I was 15 I got a summer job in a probation court. Ask around and see if your school has something like that.
Reply:I don't know if you're male or female, but I guess it doesn't really matter. If you're male, you may not enjoy a tanning salon that much. But resturaunt work is a great way to make cash. Once you get in doing bussing (cleaning tables, stocking supplies) you could always move up to wait on people. Hosting is ok too. But once you learn how to wait on people - its very easy quick money for a short amount of time. The people you work with are usually very nice people becaus they deal with the public nicely all day. And if they're not, quit!!! There are many places I quit because people weren't nice to me. There is always a place you will be treated with respect and care. I work at a Perkins and make at least 100 a shift, and thats between the hrs of 8am-2:30pm. Another good idea, is if you work near any of the shores. They'll hire young people for the summer working at food stands, game stands. Plus you get to work outside, and if its not too hot it may be fun meeting tons people while you get some fresh air. Great Adventure? Good luck, I still think the best bet is getting resturaunt experience. Even when I get my full time career, I'll probably still keep waitressing one night a week because it's such quick easy cash.

I looking for a job as a comic strip artist?
See if you can start it in a small publication, newsletter, church bulletin or some local newspaper. Then once you have done that for awhile you can move to bigger markets. That way you will have some experience and bigger publicatins can see you can meet deadlines , schedules and conflicts that may arise.
Reply:The economy is creating problems with jobs everywhere, so you are going to have a problem. But if you want to work in this industry you are going to need an extensive portfolio, meaning many samples of your work. I suggest that you continue to draw your own comic strip and see if you can get a fan base. In addition, visit comic conventions and bring your art work. Opening connections with the comic pros is always a good thing, even if the opening is just a greeting and a handshake.
Reply:draw a comic strip of different occupations using people in your area, get their photograph then show them to those specific people, attorneys, doctors, artists, etc. They will see themselves in those comic's, set a price. You will never know what will be ongoing until you try this. As you know, comic's do relate with people personalities so, why not use local individuals in a one page comic strip. I would be glad to buy one if I seen myself as the cartoon figure. Then, how many people would show it ? You may find your gift, "your personalized comic strip" drawn and sold by... (its just an immediate idea that had arrived while reading your ad)

You can write niche content and make some money via Google Adsense or Yahoo Publisher Network. Both are pay per click programs. Check out this case study https://www.google.com/adsense/askthebui... It's about Askthebuilder.com earning nearly $30,000 a month with Google Adsense.

Create sites via free hosting. This way you need not invest any money. Just your valuable time to create websites. You may not get your 200 a week almost immediately but with the right methods and hard work, it's definitely a good source of passive income which will come sooner or later.

If you need more details on ways to work from home, there are some good information and articles from this site. http://earncash.50webs.com

I am looking for an online job ( or work from home job) that is not a scam. Can anyone help me?

More and more people are looking to join the online work-from-home businesses where they can enjoy tax benefits, flexible hours and the freedom of being their own boss while earning a residual income.

If this is something you're looking into, then start figuring out what the current market trend is, find something in that trend that excites you....something you'd really enjoy doing and start researching companies from there.

Of course, you want to beware of that "get rich quick" and "pay us this amount of money first and then we'll show you how" sort of thing. .

Of the companies that appear to be legitimate, check out what they're offering you and if that fits what you want, and if it does, then look even harder - inside and out - at that company. Find out what kind of training and ongoing support they'll offer you as well, as that can be such a crucial point to your success.

Once you're satisfied that everything is above board, then go for it! The trend is swinging very quickly to online home based businesses and it can be very lucrative.

Feel free to check out my website as listed on my profile (simply click on my name under my "pic")

Good luck!!
