I will be turning 16 in a few months and I'm looking for a summer job.?

I would really like to do something with animals such as a pet shop or something, but the age requirement is 18. Any suggestions on possible jobs??

Nothing with animals since all vet offices want someone with experience. You can volunteer at an animal shelter if they have any openings. This is without pay. Maybe if you have experience with animals, you could dog walk. But if you have no experience, don't try it since you could end up in court if something happens to a beloved pet while it is in your care.
Reply:Perhaps a local veterinarian needs someone to help out around the office/hospital. You probably wouldn't be actually working with the animals (answering phone, sweeping, cleaning up poop) but it's a good way to get your foot in the door. Another idea is volunteering at your local animal shelter but of course you wouldn't get paid for that.
Reply:may be you could look into something at your local animal shelter. if it 's 18 also, you could always volunteer.
