Check out jobs.vt.edu for positions open at Virginia Tech. Since it's a huge university, they have all sorts of different positions available. Plus, VT employees are state employees since it's a public (well, technically chartered, now) university. So if you had a full time position, you'd most likely get all the state benefits, which are definitely nice.

You can also check out jobs.virginia.gov for a listing of state jobs anywhere in Virgina.

Isn't Blacksburg so much quieter now that most students have left for the summer?
Reply:I am looking for individuals that would like to work from home and make unlimited amounts of income. There is not an office yfor you to go to. It comes down to finding people who need a loan for a home or need to refinance. Report Abuse

Reply:What kind of jobs are you looking for? Something out of the house? It seems that daycare would be very costly for you unless one of your children is able and willing to help you out by watching the others.
Reply:What about trying a home "party" type business. I also work F/T but have 3 kids and needed extra money. I found a great %26amp; different company and now I am an Independent Wine Consultant and hold free in home wine tastings that are very profitable. I make $600-$1000 per month and I only do it P/T. Each tasting only lasts about 2 hours, if you can get someone to watch the kids, and you get a break %26amp; can relax %26amp; have fun. If you want more info, contact me.
Reply:have you heard of prepaid legal? it is a 34 year old company with a very small start-up fee that is traded on the NYSE. email me for questions. you should check it out
